Army in Panay recruits new batch of soldiers

CAMP PERALTA, Jamindan, Capiz - The Army's 3rd Infantry (Spearhead) Division based here is opening its doors to those who want to join the military service.

Those who passed the Philippine Army Aptitude Test Battery (PAATB) given last year will have the chance to compose the  200-strong batch of trainees for 2013.

The 6-month long basic military training will be conducted in the sprawling military reservation here.

Forty  female applicants will be accepted to join the highly competitive race for a slot in this year's Candidate Soldier's Course.

The processing timeline is as follows:

Order of priority for candidates in filling-up the CS quota:

a) Qualified professionals;
b) Graduates of MS43 and Advance ROTC;
c) College Graduate;
d) With 72 units and up in college;
e) High School graduate but MUST have technical/vocational skills needed by the AFP. Technical/vocational skills shall be supported by a certification from the employer of at least one (1) year work experience not including the On-the-Job Training.
f) Should have no tattoo marks

Basic criteria/qualifications for CS applicants:

a) Natural born Filipino citizen;
b) At least 18 years old and MUST NOT BE 27 YEARS OLD ON OR BEFORE THE DATE OF APPOINTMENT AS CANDIDATE SOLDIER, no more age waiver;

c) At least 5'0” or 60 inches in height; HEIGHT WAIVER SHALL NOT BE GRANTED ANYMORE.
d) Unmarried and without child;
e) Of good moral character; and
f) PAATB score of at least 80.

A. Whole Body Picture (Colored)
B. Bio-data with 2x2 Picture
C. NSO Birth Certificate with receipt
D. NSO Marriage Contract of Parents with receipt
E. CENOMAR – NSO Copy with receipt
F. Transcript of Records (for college level/graduate)
G. Diploma and Form 137 (High School Grad)
H. PAATB Result
I. Drug Test
J. HEPA Test Result
K. Clearances: (Brgy, Police, Mayor, MTC, RTC, NBI)
